What is the ECO4 Scheme?

UK Government’s ECO4 Scheme, available until March 2026, provides fully funded grants to help households cut energy bills and improve home efficiency. Covering insulation, heating upgrades, and renewable options like air source heat pumps, the scheme is backed by major energy companies. Our team manages eligibility checks, surveys, and installations, ensuring tailored improvements that boost your EPC rating, reduce costs, and create a warmer, more comfortable living environment.

What is EPC Rating?

A lot of homeowners wonder why an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is even needed when applying for energy-saving measures. The truth is, without one it’s hard to know how efficient your home really is—or if it qualifies for government support. That’s why many people feel stuck or unsure about what funding they can get and which improvements actually matter.

An EPC clears things up. It will show you how energy-efficient your home is right now and will alert you by pointing out where you could make improvements—like cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation, even smart heating controls. With that information, it’s much easier to see what upgrades will cut your bills and make your home more comfortable.

When you choose to work with us, we’ll take the stress out of the process. We’ll explain the EPC requirements, handle the checks, and arrange a full property survey. From application through to installation, we manage everything—so you can be confident your home gets the right improvements and guaranteed results.

Smart Thermostat

Last week, I walked in after a long day and the heating had been running the whole time, even though no one was home. Ever had that happen? Some rooms feel like saunas, others stay chilly, and somehow the bills just keep going up.

That’s why a smart thermostat is designed to meet this. It makes plans about how you live, adjusts the heat without you needing to think about it,  if your plans change, you can sort it out from your phone. No more wasting energy—just a house that feels right and bills that don’t give you a headache.

We’ll get it fitted so it works smoothly with what you already have. From the first visit to the final setup, we handle the details. You’re left with simple controls, lower costs, and a home that’s easier—and nicer—to live in.

About Us

Energy Efficiency Requirements

Your home’s energy rating also plays a role. If your property has an EPC rating of D or lower, you may qualify for a grant. Tenants in private rentals can also apply, though landlord permission is required. Homes with higher ratings may still qualify if income is low or health needs are a factor.                                                                                                                                                                                                 Adding insulation not only makes your home warmer but can also raise your EPC rating and increase the value of your property.

Our Installation Services

Even though I am the owner of my house but still face high energy bills and poor comfort due to inefficient heating and insulation. I was too worried about that, so I finally decided to improve my house and do something that may reduce my bills. So, what can I do about this?

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I don’t want all the upgrades the installer suggests? +
Then the work can’t go ahead. All the suggested upgrades have to be done to meet the scheme’s energy efficiency rules.
How do I check if I have an EPC and see my rating? +
You can find this on the government’s EPC register website by entering your property details (like your address or postcode).
Can I get the ECO grant and choose my own installer? +
No. The work must be done by an installer who is officially approved under the scheme.
Why do I need ventilation if I’m getting insulation? +
Because insulation keeps heat in, but it can also trap moisture. Ventilation stops damp and condensation, and keeps your home fresh, dry, and healthy.
What if I don’t qualify for the ECO scheme? +
You might still be able to get other grants or finance plans. Many installers also offer payment plans so you can spread the cost over time.
How do I send my benefit letter to the installer? +
Just take a clear photo or scan of your benefit letter and email it to them. If that’s hard, you can hand them a printed copy instead.
Who do I contact if I have a problem with the work? +
Contact your installer first. If they don’t fix it, you can raise the issue with the scheme administrator for more help.
How can I change the date of my appointment with the installer? +
Just call or email the installer directly. They’ll book a new date for you and confirm it.
